Little Buddies Preschool was founded in 2014 by Mrs. Shruthi Siva, our Managing Director, with a heartfelt vision to create a nurturing space where every child feels safe, loved, and genuinely excited to learn. The school opened its doors in Srinivasa Nagar, Madipakkam with a small but spirited group of children — a modest beginning that carried enormous purpose.
Driven by unwavering dedication, a genuine passion for early childhood education, and an uncompromising commitment to every child's development, Mrs. Shruthi Siva and the managing committee steadily built Little Buddies into one of the most respected preschools in the community. Within just a few years, enrolment surpassed 100 students — a powerful testament to the trust that families placed in the institution.
Like institutions worldwide, Little Buddies faced unprecedented disruption during the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in a 2.5-year pause. When the school reopened, the response from our parent community was remarkable. Within just six months of resuming operations, enrolment climbed back to 50+ students — a clear reflection of the deep confidence and loyalty our families continued to extend to us.
In 2023, three distinguished partners joined Mrs. Shruthi Siva, bringing complementary expertise and a shared commitment to expanding Little Buddies' reach and impact. This milestone enabled the school to further elevate its standards and lay the foundation for a second branch, bringing our programmes closer to more families across Madipakkam.
More than a decade on, Little Buddies Preschool continues to grow — not merely in enrolment, but in the depth of relationships, the strength of its community, and the quality of foundations built for hundreds of children across our two Chennai branches. We are proud to serve the families of Madipakkam and remain as committed as ever to offering every child the very best beginning in life.

We recruit talented, dedicated educators with excellent communication skills and a genuine love for children. Our teachers are trained to give meaningful individual attention to every child — understanding what engages them, how they learn most effectively, and how to make every interaction count.
Our enriched curriculum spans music, art, dramatic play, field trips and swimming — ensuring children develop creativity, physical confidence and a broad range of abilities alongside early literacy and numeracy foundations. We serve children aged 1.5 to 5 years, offering Play Group, Pre KG, LKG, UKG, After School Activities and Day Care.
Our curriculum incorporates essential practical life skills — table manners, toilet training and personal hygiene — alongside healthy lifestyle education: balanced nutrition, age-appropriate physical activity and healthy sleep routines that support overall well-being.
Every month features purposeful events — Colour Days, Pongal, Independence Day, Republic Day, Christmas and more. These celebrations are designed to develop creativity, teamwork, collaboration, stage confidence and public speaking skills from the earliest age.
We regularly organise age-appropriate friendly competitions to cultivate a healthy competitive spirit — teaching children not only to strive for excellence but also to embrace both success and setbacks with grace, sportsmanship and resilience.
